Do you think our downtown is healthy and successful?
What's more important, building new homes or rehabbing existing homes?
Both are important and as we progress with new development, we need to ensure we are not making it difficult to maintain our existing neighborhoods.
How do you feel about public transportation for McKinney?
The MUTD and DCTA provide cab service to poor, elderly and disabled residents, but McKinney needs DART train service to the downtown area of McKinney.
How do you plan to involve residents in the decision making process?
I plan to listen more. Our public meetings are a great place to hear what residents of McKinney have to say.
If elected, what would you do to put our city on a firmer financial footing?
I would like to do a full review of the budget and ensure the city is right-sized in every department.
Where are you're favorite places in McKinney?
I love the square. The Celt, Local Yocal and Snug are a few of my favorites. Also, I like Towne Lake and feeding the ducks.
